John J. Houlihan, Jr., was admitted to the bar in Connecticut in 1980 and is admitted to practice before the Federal District Court in the District of Connecticut. Educated at Providence College (B.A., cum laude, 1977), he received his law degree from St. John's University School of Law in 1980. Mr. Houlihan is a member of the Hartford County Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, where he serves on the Board of Governors, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and The American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Houlihan is a certified Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 1992 and is a member of the Connecticut Academy of Certified Trial Lawyers. Mr. Houlihan is on the adjunct faculty of the University of Connecticut School of Law. He taught in the Moot Court Program from 1990-1992 and has taught Trial Practice since 1998.
