Agenda

Seminar Theme:

The theme of the seminar is to demonstrate that mediation techniques are very different from those utilized at trial. The seminar's objective is to discuss and highlight techniques counsel can utilize to advance their client's position through mediation.  The program features Connecticut's leading mediators within the judicial system, former judges, and experienced attorneys.

Mediation Panel

The panel of mediators will focus on their experience and will present views from their vantage points on how to accomplish effective resolutions, including the important do's and don'ts which lead to success. After the panel discussion, there will be an extensive question and answer session, in small break-out groups, directly with the mediators. In addition to the mediator panelists, the seminar will be attended by 12 Superior Court judges, two from each judicial district.  Their presence will give attendees an opportunity to interact with these judges and gain insight into their approach to ADR.

  • Case Value:  Use of “Range/Bracket” Techniques
